The Coin Toss

Deuteronomy 30:15 - Look! You must choose between the things that I am offering you today. You may choose to have life and many good things. Or you may choose to have death and many troubles.

It’s Friday evening and it’s time for some football. It’s something that gets the heart beating, and the blood flowing for a lot of people. I’m not sure about anyone else, but for me, it’s everything. The pre-game music over the sound system, the bands playing, the cheers and even the boo’s, excitement fills the air. We are getting closer and closer to the kickoff. But before that we’ve got to have “THE COIN TOSS." The visiting team gets to call heads or tails, and the result dictates who gets the ball first and who goes on defense first. It’s a pivotal moment because it affects the game plan of both teams. In life God gives us a choice. Do we deny Christ, or do we accept him as our Lord and Savior? Just like the coin toss, this decision dictates how you live your life and how you’ll spend eternity. This decision is way bigger than heads or tails on a coin.

God loves you, and has offered eternity with him. It’s time for you to make the call.
